Our brief in-home consultations allow us to evaluate the window replacement situation firsthand and propose the best solutions for each individual situation. Depending on the type and condition of your existing windows, our representative will determining whether full tear out, insert or sash replacement systems will best suite your project.
Our window installation teams are fully insured and can handle a range of projects. In addition to a professional window installation, our teams treat your home with the same care as if it were their own.
Ervin Architectural Products’ normal area for installation projects is approximately a 45 mile radius from our showroom.
Typical Installation Process

In-home reviews are complementary and last between 30 and 90 minutes. At Ervin Architectural Products, no high pressure sales tactics are used. Our sales associate will meet with a perspective customer at their home to evaluate current window conditions, discuss the project specifics and take precise measurements. We will discuss appropriate replacement window options, such as full tear-out, sash replacement or insert units, as well as potential exterior and interior trim details, any necessary removal/replacement of siding or sheetrock and existing opening modifications. We strive to evaluate, educate and provide long-term window and door solutions for your home.
An optional meeting in our showroom allows the homeowner to see and operate full size windows and doors as well as to ask any technical or additional questions prior to ordering the products. This experience is often beneficial in the decision making process. Often times, a showroom meeting may not be convenient or required.
Some of our prospective clients choose to stop by our showroom for a brief meeting and to receive literature prior to the in-home meeting. As always, we encourage all efforts to educate the customer so feel free to come by and see us. (A quick email or phone call is appreciated so we can coordinate a convenient time for both parties.)
Next, Ervin Architectural Products will present for your approval a sales proposal, outlining the product specifications, interior/exterior trim details, proper insulation of new unit, pre-finishing details and the eventual disposal of debris & old units. The proposal will clearly outline payment terms and an installation schedule.
Ervin Architectural Products installation team’s average work day begins at your home at 8:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm. Work times may vary some according to project requirements and work flow. Our installers are seasoned professionals and courteous, dedicated to making every effort to reduce any disruption of your household, including providing an intensive clean-up. At the conclusion of each project, they will discuss care and use recommendations. The warranty will be transmitted at this time.
